YLE (Young Learners Examination):

Elementary School Children – Starters, Movers, Flyers – Their first official certification

KET (Key English Test):

certifies the achievement of a BASIC level of competence. Common European Framework – A2

KET for Schools – Middle School students up to 15th Birthday

Common European Framework – A2 (Age appropriate)

PET (Preliminary English Test):

certifies the achievement of a LOWER INTERMEDIATE level of competence. Common European Framework – B1

PET/FCE for Schools –Middle School students up to 15th Birthday (Age Appropriate)

Common European Framework – B1/B2

FCE (First Certificate in English):

certifies the achievement of an INTERMEDIATE level of competence. Common European Framework – B2

CAE (Certificate in Advanced English):

certifies the achievement of an ADVANCED level of competence. Common European Framework – C1

CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English):

certifies the achievement of a SUPERIOR level of competence. Common European Framework – C2

BEC (Business English Certificates):

• BEC1: KET/PET level
• BEC2: FCE level
• BEC3: CAE level

EXAM DATES:

The KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE Exams are held in the months of February March, May, June, November and December at variable dates established by the University of Cambridge. (See calendar- new dates are constantly being added).

These examinations are held at the Association or other suitable venues (according to specific Cambridge requirements) in the Province of Liguria.
